Day 1.Arrive Paro – Thimphu sightseeing | Altitude: 2334 m | 56 Km | Drive: 1 hour.

Our guide will receive you at the Paro International airport (Flight to Bhutan) and drive to Thimphu.

A short stop on the way to view Tamchog monastery built in the 15th century by Thang Tong Gyalpo.

In the afternoon, visit to:

In the evening, visit to Tashichho dzong, office of the King and royal secretariat. The grand annual Thimphu festival is held here in autumn.

Then free to stroll in the town.

Dinner and over night in Hotel.

Day 2.Thimphu sightseeing – Paro | Altitude: 2280 m | 56 Km | Drive: 1 hour.

In the morning, visit to:

  • National postal museum, where you can print your photos and pictures on the official stamp of Bhutan.
  • Takin preserve centre.
  • Sangaygang view point and walk across the field of prayer flags.
  • Tallest statue of sitting Buddha in the world at Kuensel Phodrang (51.5 m).
  • Changangkha monastery built in the thirteenth century by the Tibetan monk, Phajo Drugom Shigpo.

In the afternoon, drive to Paro and visit:

  • Watch tower of Paro valley, the Ta dzong which now houses the national museum of Bhutan. Paro Tshechu, one of the most spectacular Bhutan festivals  is held here in the early spring.
  • Paro dzong (Rinpung dzong) built in the seventeenth century by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. The annual Paro festival is held here in early spring.

Day 3.Paro sightseeing – Hike to the Tiger’s nest monastery | 7 Km | Hike: 4 hours.

In the morning, hike to the  Tiger’s nest monastery (Taktsang). This trail is also a part of the beautiful Bumdra trek.
